2 Year Olds Program Overview
Our 2-Year-Olds Program is where we build on skills developed from the Toddlers Program. It is common for children at this age to ask, “Why?” or “How?” We love these kinds of questions and use these moments as an opportunity to explore their fascinations.
Children continue to develop their foundation in the arts, literacy, math, and science. Our teachers will continue to engage children with hands-on lessons. While the lessons may be more advanced than the Toddlers Program, our dedicated teachers keep their class’s interests in mind, leading to open-minded learning. Lessons will occasionally extend to the play space, encouraging collaboration during objective-based activities.
We emphasize independence as part of our 2-Year-Olds Program. By encouraging independence, we can help build a child’s self-confidence. Our teachers assign age-appropriate responsibilities, including putting materials away where they belong and serving themselves snacks. Our teachers also begin toilet training to encourage self-sufficiency.
